Me dare old father has as his single request that when family members visit him fer Christmas that they leave the house carryin' one object.

(Over here in Knocknecarra, our neighbars the Morphy's 'll do this even without ye askin them to... and they doont always limit thereselves ta one item.
But I believe Dad means it mar in the way of giving these things ta his dare children rather than bein cleaned out boy the Morphys.)
